Children are especially difficult when it comes to bathing, what more when you have to wash their hair! Once your child is more comfortable in the bath, then you can start to introduce hair washing. I have left off washing my daughter’s hair for a while, until necessary, but she still goes mad.

Cleansing involves washing and rinsing the hair.

Avoid vigorous drying with a towel after washing your hair, as this will remove essential moisture. About 50 to 100 hairs fall out each day, while you're washing your hair, brushing or combing it, or just sitting still. If any more than 100 hairs fall out a day, you may want to look into your diet, and reorganize the nutrients you take in. Black Soap helps oily skin, blemishes & more and has been used for centuries. Ghanaians have also used black soap for bathing and washing their hair.

Doctor Denis, the demon designer, is always ready to prescribe the Comfywash system to solve that portable hair washing problem! I have read that washing hair with warm/hot water can rob it of its nutrients. I have never read anything negative about washing hair with cold water. I've stopped washing my hair altogether. The rest of you I feel are simply intellectually curious enough to wonder what might happen when a man simply stops washing his hair. First I have to brush out my hair, tangled from three days of not washing. But do not attempt this unless you are used to dry cleaning your hair!

When you wash your hair with detergent or soap, the grease sticks to the detergent or soap and washes away with the water. If you do choose to wash your hair daily, make sure that you are using a pH-balanced shampoo and only wash it once. Also, the more frequently you can wash your hair in the first few weeks, the more quickly you'll finish your "detox". Standing upright reduces back strain while washing hair for the caregiver or hairdresser. Let your hair hang naturally while you wash it, either standing in the shower or with your head leaning over the bath. Preferably, the hair washing aid also includes a liquid supply container and a pump for delivery of liquid from the container to the nozzle. Magnesium content of hair was most affected by washing, containing less than half of the magnesium of the unwashed hair.

The typical hair and hair follicles of those of African descent are tightly curled, thus producing hair that spirals. Black hair also typically has a larger diameter than Caucasian hair and retains less water, thus its relative “kinkiness.” The many styling methods utilized on Black hair cause concern with hair loss. Black hair is very strong, fortunately so because Black hair styles cause a great deal of stress on the hair and scalp.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tatiayanna Jones. Hi Tatiayanna, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself. I started my business during the pandemic in 2020. I was temporarily laid-off and uncertain of when I was to return back to work. My eyes were opened to the reality, that being an employee and working for someone else, is a world of dependency of a company paycheck. I started trying to make masks at first. But I’m not a seamstress so that turned out terrible. Unable to get my hair done, I started thinking about wigs! Wigs have definitely come a long way in the past 20 years. Women can actually do their own hair, without spending soo much money at the salon. However, I do recommend having wigs installed professionally, for inexperienced wearers. I mostly would wear hair bundles. I began to suffer from Traction Alopecia from having my hair bundles installed too tight. So I’m a very big advocate on hair loss. That was a very devastating experience for me, to see bald spots. (I have pictures) Women need to be very cautious on how they install their hair to avoid Traction Alopecia. For women who have other types of Alopecia, don’t have to walk around bald. (Unless they choose to) Your hair is your beauty, and I believe women can wear hair extensions and wigs and still maintain, who they are inside. Protective styles are very important to the Black hair community, especially during summer and winter months. So, I provide human hair for the quality and sustainability for protective maintenance. I’ve also expanded my business into a clothing boutique called p48 style fashion boutique. Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect? My biggest challenge was having my vision displayed for my hairboss Queens. I went through different website companies, who promised to build me an awesome website, but I ended up spending soo much money on trying to find the right fit. After a year, I finally found an awesome team, that helped put my vision out on my website. I’ve had my websites hacked, bank information hacked all due to trusting the wrong people. Everyone is online shopping, so it’s definitely a plus for my kind of business. It’s hard convincing family and friends to stop putting money into low quality hair and enduring poor customer service to local hair stores, that don’t care. Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Purple48 Hair Collection and more LLC? I sell human hair wigs and hair extensions. The quality hair comes from Indian temples from India and China. I work exclusively close with my vendors, being that I have a close relationship with them, I am able to offer hair extensions at a reasonable price. Customer service is very important to me, so I treat my customers as to how I would like to be treated. My products are not to change the persona of character but help build exceptional high self-esteem. Black women wear wigs and hair extensions to protect their tresses not because they can’t grow their own hair. I have revamped my haircare line with a new hair growth oil that has natural seeds and herbs. I’ve partnered with a company called Fibonacci that provides products for maintaining the Quality of our wigs and hair extensions. I have expanded our business with a clothing boutique. We offer women’s clothing for all occasions, with modern and classy collections. Visit p48fashion.com for a sneak peek. I research the beauty and hair industry and have blogs on my hair website for informational purposes and reasons, to educate my hairboss Queens. I upload very frequently. I can be found on all social media sites such as IG, FB, TikTok and Twitter. I give away free products to those who need to look professional for a job interview, or just to look their best at work. I believe in giving back to the community. My brand purple48 is very unique. I love the color purple and it’s mentioned in the bible 48 times…. Thats were the name Purple48 came from. I thank God for the journey He has prepared for me, and I’m excited to help, encourage, engage and educate all women to pursue their own dreams to flourish in this world. Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
